On Friday 14th聽February over 60 students and staff from the Academies joined together at Fairfax for the inaugural FMAT Choir rehearsal.
Students from each academy have been rehearsing two songs in the own settings; 鈥淭his is me鈥� from the Greatest Showman and 鈥淪tay with me鈥� by Sam Smith. 聽Students were also taught 鈥淪tand by me鈥� by Ben E. King.
This new initiative allows staff and students – most of whom have never been in a choir before – to work in collaboration. The intention is for the choir to perform in front of each Academy, and ultimately in the FMAT Show in October.
